What is on my roof?
It is an ALGAE called Gloeocapsa Magma and it is alive and growing!! The sun reflects off this algae causing the black streaks on your roof while also increasing heating and cooling costs.
In addition to algae, many roofs have moss and lichens (white bark spots) attached to the shingles. We remove these hazardous organisms as well.
How much does it normally cost?
Prices range from $400 + depending on varying factors.
We anticipate getting many calls in your area. This allows us to save on travel and set up and we pass that along to the customer.
Will it get worse and how long will it stay clean?
Yes, algae is a living organism that needs food to continue to spread. Shingles are the perfect food for them because shingle manufactures now use a limestone filler. This limestone combined with moisture produces algae. If you allow the roof algae to continue to spread, you will be replacing your roof much sooner than you should be. With the average roof replacements at over $10,000, a professional roof cleaning company can remove it for a small fraction of that cost.
Depending on the weather, your roof should remain algae free for 5-7 years.
Will Roof Cleaning damage my shingles, landscaping, or pets?
No, we never use pressure. We use biodegradable cleaning agents and the proper cleaning techniques to make sure we never damage anything on your property. We treat your property like it is our own.
We guarantee your satisfaction.
Do you offer any other services?
Yes, we wash houses too and can remove any algae or moss that is on the sides of your house, fence, decks, etc.
We also do all types of powerwashing.
